Between these months, the exports of rice almost touched the range of 60 percent of previous year exports in value. The growth of 10.5 percent counts for $4,777.35 million.

Non-basmati rice exports almost doubled in the ratio in comparison to previous reports. But, basmati rice exports saw a tiny fall in the records about 7 percent.

In volume terms also, the exports of rice increased to double compared to a year ago. In the covid situation, there are many countries that have been importing more material to keep a stock. 

Furthermore, Indian rice obtained the highest value in all meals and the most popularized grain in the global market all because of the highest quality and best price.

Even though the pandemic situation feels a relief, the demand for non-basmati rice is rapidly increasing day by day. The country has exported about 8.3 million tonnes of rice in a few months.

India As The Largest Country Of Exporting:

India is considered as the second largest exporter after China. According to the sources, it contributed to the national income on a larger scale. India has a rice production rate over 100 million tonnes every year.
